UNICEF cards are produced from chlorine-free pulp derived from responsibly managed, sustainable resources. Most envelopes are produced from chlorine-free processes and all packaging and shipping cartons, where possible are made from recyclable materials.

Cards and gift wrap from Thailand and Nepal are particularly environmentally friendly since they use only the bark of the tree which regenerates and leaves the tree unharmed.
